Carrier Commercial HVAC, a global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions, is proud to announce its continued support for Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport during the 2025 British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) season. Building on a championship-winning 2024 campaign, Carrier is once again partnering with the team as they prepare to take on this year’s races with a renewed focus on performance and sustainability.
This season, Carrier will support Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport’s BMW 330i M Sport challenger, which now runs on fully sustainable fossil-free fuel, across all 10 rounds of the 2025 BTCC season. The Carrier logo will feature prominently on the car’s front corners and on the racing overalls of MB Motorsport driver, Jake Hill, showcasing the successful collaboration between Carrier and the racing team.
Oliver Sanders, Commercial Director at Carrier Commercial HVAC UK and Ireland, expressed enthusiasm for the continued partnership:
“We are thrilled to continue our journey with Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport following their incredible championship-winning season. As we move into 2025, the BTCC’s shift toward sustainable fuels aligns perfectly with Carrier’s commitment to fostering sustainability across industries. We look forward to supporting the team in their pursuit of further success and continuing to advocate for cleaner, more energy-efficient solutions.”
The British Touring Car Championship continues to lead in motorsport sustainability, with the series now fully embracing sustainable fuel technologies. This move reinforces the sport’s commitment to a more environmentally responsible future, matching Carrier’s own sustainability goals for healthier, more energy-efficient buildings.
The BTCC’s passionate fanbase of racing enthusiasts and business leaders offers Carrier a unique platform to raise awareness of its cutting-edge HVAC solutions, which contribute to sustainable building environments. Carrier is actively working to help its customers reduce their carbon footprints through innovative heating, cooling, and ventilation technologies that promote energy efficiency.
Mark Blundell, former Formula 1 Driver and Sporting Director of Laser Tools Racing with MB Motorsport, praised the partnership:
“Carrier has been an incredible partner throughout our championship-winning 2024 season, and we are delighted to have them on board again for 2025. They have become a true partner in every sense way beyond our BTCC programme. In the last twelve months that has involved enlisting their support with our new London office, introducing them to many of our fellow commercial partners and even running our first-ever staff recognition day together at Silverstone last year.”
Carrier’s involvement in the BTCC also offers valuable opportunities to collaborate with other businesses in the MBP Official Partner Programme network, helping companies meet their heating and cooling needs while reducing their environmental impact.
